Heart Crayons

Good Morning y'all.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  Thanks to pinterest, I just finished making these heart crayons for Valentine's Day.  They were so easy to make.  All I did was cut up old crayons ( I used mostly Valentine's Day colors) and put them into a heart shape silicon mold that I got at the $1 spot from target.  I baked them at 225 for 20 minutes until they were completely liquid.  I let them cool (make sure to allow them to completely cool or they do not come out smooth!) and popped them out of the mold.  To make the card that they are displayed on, I made circular word art in Microsoft Word and cut it out with Spellbinders circle nestabilities. I ran that through my heart embossing folder and attached it to a scallop circle that I cut out with my cricut....and TA DA...cute heart crayons for Valentine's Day.

Until Next time,

Target Mailbox

Hey Y'all
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.  I have had a very productive one; finished the mailboxes, organized my hall closet, began organizing my stamps, and made heart shaped crayons (pic to come).  Anyways...on to the project. This is just one of the three valentine mailboxes that I have created for my nieces.  The paper, mailbox, and stickers were purchased at Target in the  $1 bin!! I cut the envelopes on the back and the lock and key from the sweetheart cricut cartridge and the "S" from birthday bash.  I added some heart shaped bling using the irock.

Inside: lip shaped chocolate candy, sweetheart candy, nailpolish, lip gloss, and valentine's theme erasers

I am continuing to update my stamp collection.  I was storing them in a binder, but it was too bulky and everything kept falling out (even with strong adhesive). I am moving them to CD cases and then making a 5.5 in. binder of the acetate sheets so I can quickly find what stamp I need.

"30 Sucks"

Hey y'all. My friend at work turned the big "30" today, so I decided to make her a small reminder of how she felt today.  I made this "30 sucks" gift by pushing 30 suckers and colored tulle into a styrofoam cone that I glued inside of a small box.  I added ribbon and bling to the outside.  I jazzed it up with a princess crown and star wands! I made the card with the happy birthday embossing folder from cuttlebug and welded the phrase together on my gypsy.  I think it came out great, and she was a great sport about it....can't wait till my "30th" (did you get the sarcasm there?)
Until next time,
Elizabeth

Very First Blog Post

Hello everyone! This is Elizabeth, and this is my very first blog post.  I am very new to the blog scene and have much to learn.  I have been following a few blogs for a while to give me inspiration for my scrapbooking, organization, and other projects.  I am very excited to start sharing what I have learned and created myself.  Right now I am working on Valentine's Day mailboxes for my neices.  I will post pictures of that soon and hope to start filming tutorials. If you have any suggestions for a newbie like me, please don't hestitate to comment.
Thanks...until next time
Elizabeth
